Wow, ok, lots to reflect on!
I am overjoyed.
We had a beautiful turnout for our first ever content marketing co-working session!
I was so thrilled to spend an hour with over a dozen creative professionals – from those working in higher education to folks in the arts to web and graphic designers and doulas building birth work businesses!
It was really heartening to me to see how many people actively wanted to set aside an hour of creative time for themselves in order to support their work.
I hope this becomes a regular habit in all our lives, regardless of whether or not we do it in story-crafting sessions facilitated by my firm.
I’m also SO impressed by what’s already happening with some of the content the group has created.
My objective for “Serve Up Your Next Story” is quite literal.
Each month, I want you to share the story you create as immediately as possible in your marketing. Wherever it makes the most sense.
Directly after this Tuesday’s workshop, brand designer Sharon Wagner of Swail Studio shared the rough draft of her story on Threads. The story went viral, has more than 63k views, quality engagement via comments, and is increasing traffic to her website.
Sharon, who also happened to design our new company brand, has just launched a new brand design process, with open slots in September, and she’s been able to layer in several calls to action to inquire about those services with folks who are now seeing her work!
She just sent out an expanded version of her story via her email list this morning, for even deeper impact.
With a few tweaks, fresh ideas, and even more time for creating, I can’t wait to see what we all achieve NEXT MONTH! I hope you’ll join us.
