Reduce hesitation and increase conversions by giving your audience the information they need to feel confident.
For our clients—service providers, arts organizations, and nonprofits—one of the biggest obstacles to securing new business or support is fear.
But not their own fear!
Whether it’s hiring a service provider, attending an arts event, or making a donation, most people hesitate, for any number of reasons.
- Unclear Value. They’re not sure what they’ll get or how it benefits them.
- Lack of Transparency. Pricing, timelines, or deliverables aren’t clearly outlined.
- Risk of Wasting Money. They’re not convinced the investment will be worth it.
- Overwhelm. The process seems complicated or difficult to navigate.
Luckily, there are remedies for these anxieties—no matter what they’re rooted in.
Clarity is the antidote to hesitation.
When you provide detailed, transparent information about what you offer, how it works, and why it matters, you empower people to make confident decisions, making it easier for them to say yes.
Here are some examples of how we’ve helped our clients address these challenges:
Christopher Duggan Photography
Christopher Duggan provides more than just wedding photography and videography—he also provides timeless heirlooms in the form of wedding albums.
Couples often wonder if they really need a professionally designed album, but we make sure his website outlines every step of the design process, helping them feel confident about investing in something that will be treasured for generations. We’ve broken it down into four clear steps, so clients aren’t overwhelmed or confused, and so they feel great about what they’re paying for.
Bonus: Testimonials! Christopher has also been awarded the Best of Zola and WeddingWire Couple’s Choice awards for the past several years. We always blog about it to share how meaningful it is to him, and to uplift his clients’ kind words. Testimonials are a great way to build confidence with your audience.
Dance Education Laboratory (DEL)
Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) at 92NY is a vital resource for dance educators working in public schools, private studios, and beyond. They offer both online and in-person courses, and we’re helping them redesign their course pages to make it easier for educators to say yes.
Current course pages already include specific dates, cost, and information on facilitators and their credentials.
But we want to build a new structure that further clarifies:
- Who each course is for, so educators can easily see how it applies to their teaching environment.
- What they’ll learn, so they know exactly what skills and knowledge they’ll walk away with.
- What to expect in terms of participation, so folks know how much time they’ll need to invest and if they have options for independent study or more collaborative learning.
The School at Jacob’s Pillow
When we create social media content for The School, we aim to immerse potential dancers in the full experience: what it’s like to live, train, and grow at Jacob’s Pillow.
We highlight class and rehearsal moments, share performance clips from the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage and the Ted Shawn Theatre, and feature interviews with alumni about how The School shaped their careers.
We also invite both current dancers and alumni to take over our Instagram stories, giving a firsthand perspective on the impact of this experience.
Our goal is to make the opportunity feel tangible, inspiring dancers to see themselves at The School and take the next step in their journey.
And finally… us! Grounded Growth Marketing
During our rebrand process, we focused on making our Services pages clear and confidence-building for potential clients. We include:
- Time frames, so clients know how long each process will take.
- What’s included — like Brand Research, Goal Setting, Marketing Assessments, Strategy, and a Three-Month Content Calendar — so there are no surprises.
- Typical client goals, so potential clients can see how our work aligns with their needs and expectations.
By providing this level of detail, we help clients feel informed and confident about working with us.
Clarity drives action.
If you’re ready to help your audience feel confident about working with you…
